The mechanical design of the W21LX product line is based on the highly successful W21 universal motor series and incorporates several innovative new features including: a modern frame design with new heat sinks and feet to ensure greater mechanical rigidity and excellent heat dissipation; re-engineered Designed end caps reduce bearing operating temperature and therefore increase relubrication intervals; advanced cooling system reduces noise levels and significantly improves heat dissipation.

Energy efficiency

In addition to relying on the safe operation of the product, users of W21LX motors can also reduce energy consumption and CO2 emissions through the technology employed and the level of performance achieved. The W21LX product line is designed to meet the efficiency levels specified in GB18613-2020 and IEC60034-30-1. As standard, the motor meets the GB3(IE3) advanced efficiency level and is optional for variable frequency drive (VFD) operation. The ratio between the power rating, speed and frame size of the new W21LX line follows the applicable parts of IEC standards 60034 and 60072, which ensures interchangeability with existing motors. And when replacing less efficient motors, it provides users with a solution to achieve a quick return on investment.
